Phnom Penh: Today CDPLA is supporting a campaign to end violence against women and girls based on gender equality, we work together to promote women's rights in the workplace.

Violence against women and girls is a global pandemic that affects one in three women and girls worldwide. This violence takes many forms, including physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. It can happen in any setting, including the home, the workplace, and the community.

Gender equality is the fundamental principle that all people, regardless of their gender, have the same rights, responsibilities, and opportunities. This includes the right to be free from violence, discrimination, and exploitation.

Promoting women's rights in the workplace is essential to achieving gender equality. When women are able to participate fully in the workforce, it benefits everyone. Women bring diverse perspectives and skills to the workplace, which can lead to increased productivity and innovation. They also contribute to economic growth and development.

There are many things that can be done to end violence against women and girls and promote women's rights in the workplace. Here are a few examples:

  • Raise awareness of the issue.
  • Support organizations like CDPLA that are working to end violence against women and girls.
  • Advocate for policies that promote gender equality.
  • Challenge harmful gender stereotypes.
  • Support women in leadership roles.

Together, we can create a world where all women and girls are safe and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
