Phnom Penh — Mr. Prum Bunthorn has called on citizens, especially agricultural workers and those in the informal sector, to join associations to access opportunities for capacity building through various skills training programs and advocacy activities.
He stated that associations represent the voice of citizens in protecting and promoting their rights and interests. By joining an association, citizens will have the chance to learn about labor laws, human rights, representation, and negotiation or advocacy techniques to address the challenges they face in their daily lives.
He added,
“Your contributions are an important force in advocacy and social equality.”
