Svay Rieng: More than 1,000 workers at the Sany Furniture Factory located in the Tay Seng 3 Special Economic Zone, Prey Kaki Village, Prey Kaki Commune, Chantha District, Svay Rieng Province, on October 13, 2025, continued to gather to protest the company’s failure to pay salaries and other unresolved issues.
On October 10, more than 1,000 workers from the Sany Factory gathered in front of the factory to demand that the company pay workers on time.
According to the workers of the company mentioned above, the company has not yet paid its workers, especially frequent wage abuses that led to today’s protest.
According to the workers’ demands today, they are asking for four conditions: paying wages today, paying them regularly and in full, removing the Chinese accounting position from the job, and that overtime must be on a voluntary basis.
