Phnom Penh: On the morning of 25 November 2025, Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training spokesperson Mr. Sun Mesa called on all workers and employees to file complaints with the Ministry if they encounter inappropriate language in the workplace, so the Ministry can take action.

He stated: “I appeal to all administrative heads, department heads, sewing-team leaders, and assistants in enterprises, companies, and factories to kindly use gentle language when working with workers and employees—especially our brothers and sisters who are former Cambodian migrant workers returning from Thailand. Please do not insult them. All workers and employees can file complaints with the Ministry, with the spokesperson, or anonymously.”

This appeal aims to promote care and warmth toward former Cambodian migrant workers returning from Thailand—both when offering them job opportunities and during daily work—through gentle and attentive treatment, just as the Royal Government, the Ministry, provincial administrations, competent authorities at border checkpoints, youth volunteers of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, and Red Cross youth volunteers have striven to provide when these workers first set foot back on Cambodian soil.

Workers can submit complaints via the Ministry’s social media pages, the Minister’s social media, the spokesperson’s channels, or the anonymous QR-code system, which is available at any time. Spokesperson contact numbers: 097 256 4447 / 077 465 289 / 015 465 289.
