Phnom Penh: On May 20, 2025, San Sopha, Vice President of the Collective Union of Movement of Workers (CUMW), and Ken Chhenglang, Project Implementation Director, attended CARE Cambodia’s workshop on policies, protection, and training for frontline workers.

The training focused on equipping partners with awareness and knowledge of safeguarding, emphasizing the importance of protecting children and adults within the NGO sector and CARE’s operations.

The goal is to ensure that programs and projects are safe for participants, as well as for people who come into contact with CARE and partner staff and related personnel.
Additionally, the workshop familiarized partners with CARE’s safeguarding requirements and supported them in developing action plans for improvement and monitoring.
