Phnom Penh: Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, on July 28, 2025, revealed images of violence committed by Thai extremist groups against Cambodian workers living and working in Thailand. These acts are unacceptable and constitute serious human rights violations.

The revelation was made while Heng Sour was invited to preside over the opening ceremony of a tripartite workshop involving the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, employers’ professional organizations, workers’ professional organizations, and the International Labor Organization (ILO). The workshop focused on the “2025 Annual Review of the Implementation of the Decent Work Program in Cambodia 2024-2028” at the Cambodiana Hotel.
