Self-employed Individuals Can Now Apply for National Social Security Fund

Phnom Penh: Now, self-employed people can also apply for a National Social Security Fund membership card for only 15,600 riels per month. Making them eligable to receive 24-hour health care at all hospitals and their subsidies that are partners nationwide.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, in order to be able to apply for a membership card. You must comply with the following conditions:

• For self-employed individuals (self-employed), self-employed, non-wage earners. Work or run your own business without using staff.
• Must be at least 60 years old by the date of application for registration at the NSSF. Applicants must come to apply for NSSF membership directly and have an original Khmer Nationality Identity Card (valid).
